2007 Exceptional Women Award

Julie Silver was among six women selected by Boston’s Magic 106.7 FM radio station, the nation’s leader in producing award-winning programming by and for women. Dr. Silver won this award in 2007 in the healthcare category for her work in helping cancer survivors to physically recover after treatment.

2006 Lane Adams Quality of Life Award

This award, the American Cancer Society’s most prestigious honor, is given to 10 outstanding healthcare providers annually.


2006 Local Hero

Dr. Silver was selected for this award by BMW and the Susan G. Komen Foundation for their Ultimate Drive event, which raises money for breast cancer.

Best Health Book of 2006

The Library Journal selected Dr. Silver’s book After Cancer Treatment: Heal Faster, Better, Stronger as one of the best health books published in 2006.

2003 Ten Outstanding Young Leaders Award

Dr. Silver was chosen by the Boston Junior Chamber of Commerce as one of Massachusetts’s 10 outstanding young leaders in 2003.
